PENN THEATRE OF PERFORMING ARTS presents the Broadway musical Annie in Hazleton’s J.J. Ferrara Center, 212 West Broad Street. Curtains are 7:00pm on Friday and Saturday August 27th and 28th; and, at 3:00pm on Sunday August 29th. The Tony Award-winning show tells of little Annie, in a NYC orphanage in 1933, trying to find her real parents who left her there when she was a baby. She escapes, but is caught by nasty Miss Hannigan who runs the orphanage. Then, billionaire Oliver Warbucks comes into Annie’s life and changes everything!
